This place is amazing! An escape distant from the noice of the city center with amazing original food. Ask the team about their menu and you get the opportunity to try out new things. Very kind and dedicated service. Try the Mescal. I am vegan, my husband is not and we both had a delicious menu. If you don’t visit this place you miss out!

This was a lovely restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere. Food was delicious. I loved the zucchini soup. The cook spoke English, she was really kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

We have enjoyed El Corazon de Mexico twice this week and it is amazing. The tlyuda took me back the market in Oaxaca but was even better. The quesadillas, garnachas, guacamole, and platanos fritos are incredible as well. 100% authentic Oaxacan food. The vibe is great in the courtyard with view of the open air kitchen. The staff is super friendly and service great. We will be back again before leaving Tepoztlan!

The food here is so so good - the tlayuda with everything was incredible, my favorite was the sopa de guias which might have been the best soup I've ever had, the quesadilla with flor de calabaza and chapulines hit the spot and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Thank you!!
